In this day and age, Activity-based learning has become important, especially for students as they enable them to stay updated with current events, comprehend concepts better, and build their skills. The job market has become very demanding which makes it harder for higher education to meet the industry standard expectations. To bridge this gap, we provide our students with quality UK education, innovative teaching methods, and modern-based workshops to impart education not only to offer accredited certifications but to deliver lessons that will alter our students’ work experience for the better.

Keeping this in mind, we had an engaging game-based workshop organised by Skilleit. The session was designed to bring out a student’s entrepreneurial skills to life. Our students were guided through a 13-stage startup journey and its challenges. To tackle this, they had to come up with potential solutions as well as strategies for staying ahead of the curve. Not only did they learn many entrepreneurial skills, but also got to see the real-life challenges an organization faces in its day-to-day business operations.

With the completion of the workshop, our students got to learn key business concepts which would help them make important decisions in their business or work life. We make every attempt to further enhance their thought process through classroom lectures, adaptive feedback, personal coaching and not to mention gamified elements. Being part of this workshop, our students got the opportunity to practice working in teams, navigate the trade-offs in business startups, and deal with fast-moving events, all of which are essential skills required in an organization. We also got to see the creative side of our students appear in this fun workshop. At Demont, we’re all about offering our students the right experience that fosters their learning and growth.

Here’s what our students have to say about the workshop…

“The Game-Based Entrepreneurship Workshop was a fun and interactive game which came with a lot of challenges toward the end. It was a fun way of communicating with my friends and sharing our experiences during the workshop. it had different levels that you could play on and even increase the difficulty accordingly. We had an amazing time and the whole class was buzzing with energy. I thank DeMont for this wonderful experience that has brought us to improve our skills.”

“We had a fun session playing Heuristic managed by the DeMont. The session was conducted to make the learning experience more fun and practical. We engaged with one another and actively approached the challenge. We were divided into three teams as we were engrossed in a healthy competition and played two rounds of the game. The first round was fairly simpler and easy to play, while the second round was more challenging and allowed us to think creatively to win. We learned how team dynamics helped us to win the game by making sure the players with the favorable cards were tackled by targeting and giving ‘trouble’ – a disadvantage that can be given by any player instead of taking his turn. The game brought out our enthusiasm and we learned how to work together to gain an advantage even in unfavorable situations.”

“We recently attended a game-based entrepreneurial workshop led by Ritu Srivaastava and Kunnwar Vijay Parmar.  They did an exceptional job in explaining the features of the game and showed immense support throughout the session to ensure that we thoroughly understood all the concepts and enjoyed the game. The game was very fun to play with our group of friends as it challenged us by requiring us to make quick strategic decisions while also thinking critically. The session’s content was exceptionally well-organized and presented in a clear and engaging manner which made the entire experience a lot more enjoyable. Overall, I left the workshop feeling inspired and equipped with a wealth of new knowledge and skills. Thank you DeMont for arranging such workshops so we can have a valuable and memorable learning experience!”
